. I fully agree with you that the back-part blends in better with the lush-terrain colors than the front. This can be explained (as you said) by the orange that 'encases' the green-front that is already somewhat brighter than the back-part.In my opinion that is exactly what a radar should do, blend in. While in-game I don't only want to look on my radar, but on occasion also through it (ie: standing on a hill overlooking the map).
In general:
If anyone has any problems with the colors (colorblindness!) please contact me and I ll make a special version with the colors you like. Please note that I will share it with everyone and that it wont be a "personal radar"
