This is probably the third topic like this I've posted, but here it is again: Hi everyone! I dunno if anybody remembers me, because I haven't played Think Tanks for at least a year. I was thinking of maybe playing again some, I don't know. ...Does anybody still play? And do people play on the normal server, or that new server thing? Also, any other news you could give me would be greatly appreciated.


P.S. Even though I haven't been on for several months I'm still the latest poster in two of the forums... lol XD

we're here, we play, its still fun!
You do need to update to be able to play on Phobiks server as that is where most of the games are, CB's still gets some peeps.
Forums are pretty quiet these days, it comes and goes.

If you click the ptt2 "home" button/link there are instructions for setting up Phobiks master server.

My prefs.cs doesn't quite match the one in the instructions:

It said $pref::Master0 = "2:master.garagegames.com:28002";
Instead of $pref::Master1 = "2:65.39.236.105:28001";

But I changed it to $pref::Master0 = "2:phobiks.dyndns.org:28001"; anyway.

TT Still works, but I can't get into Phobik's server (the maps won't load).


P.S. The other stuff in the instructions matched mine so I changed them too without a problem.

Are you on PC or Mac???

If on PC, and have win 7 or vista, you need to get to your compatibility files as that is where the prefs runs off of. Edit prefs in that, delete dso, start up TT.

Also, dload latest dazzle pack. Should give you most of the maps, make sure your rates are set, and you will load new maps fast.

Oh, I see. I thought the new server would let me into the maps for some reason

P.S. Are there still leagues happening?

Yup, leagues still going. PSL ended not all that long ago and i believe TBM is still going right now. They took a break i think do to Christmas and New Years. Cloud will know much more than myself.
