Well peptide point i was approached to re-mod it to up to date game play, and before I modded it I asked Triv if he was ok with it and he said yes.

And what's really mind boggling is I modded Balletomania when Dash was still around and got his permission to do so before I touched it, he even played it before he left.

I just found the sent e-mail to dash I'll copy and paste the body.

From my g-mail account in May of 08, that's how long that Balletomania has been re-modded so imagine my confusion when people say they had not played it. Also this version of Balletomania was run in Salmons Sams server months prior to PSL. So again imagine my confusion as to all the complaining.

Anyhow I'm done and riding on the on the ass behind roo into the sunset as far as modding goes.

It's time for a new generation of modders to emerge, Eragon has some good maps you guys should check them out.

Agreed. We should use the same maps as PSL 15. They were great. In my opinion, Roo's Lush maps are the greatest maps ever made for TS. I think that if we get a good portion of the above players in game sometime we should be able to to choose 15 that work, easily. I think wOOts maps are great for Pick-Up games, but for the intense and point pounding goals of PSL, we don't want to have airgoals where players bounce off arrows and rocks. I love challenging airgoals directly off arrows, but I definitely agree for the grind-out/blocking heavy/camping style of play that has become PSL, LUSH maps with a medium amount of Low trajectory arrows make up for a perfect map. I also think that the reason STOCK maps would suck, is because they ARE stock maps. I don't have a problem with the amount of arrows/air goals, It's just the fact that everyone has seen everything happen on these maps, and playing on them would give PSL the feel of normal pick-up games, which I think everyone would hope to avoid.

I dunno if I would play if we decided on strictly STOCK maps.
I'm not trying to "threaten" anyone by saying this, I just don't
think it would be nearly as fun as slightly faster pace maps, that
promote the MANLY style of TeamScrum that we call PSL.

If you were unhappy about last seasons maps why not return to
another seasons set? Such as PSL 15, I remember NO complaints
that season about the maps. It makes no sense to allow ONE
group of maps that were selected for PSL to give all the maps used
over the past 10 or so seasons a bad name. There have definitely
been at least 15 (as many as we need) maps, that ALMOST everyone
could agree are nearly perfect. It might take a little while, but Roo and
Wiz/Triv had modded some of the most enjoyable and loved maps for PSL
we shouldn't simply return to STOCK maps cause of last season.

Think about all the f**king beautiful maps that have been made...
There are more than enough.

I feel cheated that the first time I am on a championship team for PSL (and perhaps the last) the championship game does not have RX's commentary and nifty extras. LOL

I recently watched some old game film, and now I see what I am missing. Now, I know that its a TON of work... but is there any interest or intention to put in commentary or extras in this years movie? I thought I would ask.

If not, its cool. :-)

you certainly have my blessing to add your own soundtracks and re-edit as you like. I love doing it, but this time I just got sidetracked and felt bad about taking weeks and weeks before releasing it. If you are up for it please go for it! I have plenty of hosting space and many tools that could be useful. Let me know how I can help!
