CONGRATULATIONS POPPERS!

Video captured. With any luck we will get to see the match movie in a few days. This was an amazingly close and tense 3-game match. Every point was an epic battle! You could cut the tension with a knife. I kept saying to myself, "jesus!" , "omg!", and "yikes!". I was surprised at how conservative the game play was actually. These were not high scoring games. They were more about battling for possession in the field, and then waiting for the field to get set up. It appeared that most of the time, the "plan" usually did not work out. Lots of possession changes. Lots of BM matchups in the field where people would not even go for the scrum until the opponent was gone. Not much productive use of arrows it seemed. In any case, excellent games, and reasonably excellent sportsmanship!

I agree it was a great season. Looking back on the games we played i really did like using skype. It was a good blend of personalities and strategies that made the games come alive.
Our team was fortunate because we also got to listen in on baba and his team.

Great season, I too liked the addition of Skype, despite being an early sceptic of it.

Thanks to all involved, congrats to the Poppers for pulling it out.

Some of us were having some discussions for next season about striving to get more equal servers for west /east coast.
That is still an issue for those of us westerlies.
I think we should take that issue up on a separate thread, So until I (or others ) start it I'll leave it for now.

I agree with Babs , if we could have data center based server in the middle ,and addition of skype to the game ,could bring some more ppl and get some old timers back.
