It'll take a while. The script is pretty much finished and just needs some heavy testing (998 lines, 1/4th of ACASv3 :P)...
As for the maps and such they still need a lot of working but are progressing along nicely, and Dazzle has some really nice tricks up his sleeve, you'll be amazed!

Well today, LONEWOLF and I spent hours working on the maps and managed to get Medulla Mesa, Hypothalamus Hills, Cranium Crater, and Greymatter Gorge done, and Dazzle and Lone did Freudian Forest. As Art mentioned, the script is pretty much finished and now needs an extreme amount of testing. All seems to be progressing well!

As Mr Phobik stated above,
I alone put in 9 hrs. today working on the maps.
Still have 7 more maps to go !

The hardest one of them all,
out of the 5 we did today
(to me the hardest out of the 12 maps),
was transforming Freudian Flats into Freudian Forrest .

Now to find a stiff drink & relax :peace:

Speed gate is 100% and so is the changing emitter that sits on top of it.

The special weps are not done yet but thats an easy part of this project, so dont worry they will be included.

There will also be an version of CTF Recreation that will use the instant action files, the converted maps look great so far, so if you have not yet installed the instant action preload grab it from here: http://www.box.net/shared/static/qm54qz87sx.zip

Huge thanks to Art who has written what can only be described as an exceptional script that is FULLY controllable by variable options.

This project has come a long way in a week, and we are well on the way to producing somthing I think will be quite special.

Just in the middle of making the special weps and have a few questions if anyone can remember..... But any ideas are welcomed.

Brain weapon,

how many shots per clip?
how many hits to kill light tank?

Volcano Rock weapon,

how many shots per clip?
how many hits to kill light tank? LW seems to recall 2 hits


The new script is finished and ready for testing and we now have the first map actually running with the script installed and I must say wow it looks good, no screenies yet you will have to wait for that. As there are some additional controls required Art is also writing a special CTF Admin script but will use the same admin codes as the dash scripts so no real difference will be noticed by hoster or admin, But there will be a GUI for any admin who wants it. The additional new codes that will be added are /eventeams (evens and shuffles teams) /follow (arts new follow observer script) /timeout (puts client into obs and silences them) /rscores (resets team and personal scores) and server log functions /logall (logs stats of all clients in the server to a file on the host computer) /logmessage (logs a message to a file on the host computer) /logclient (logs a single clients stats with a message to a file on the host computer)
