The vast majority of UF have largely forgotten about armies (since today's armies offer inferior play to nightly pick-up or league games, and UF's members all have outstanding reputations as individuals - modders, players, beer drinkers, sandwich makers)
AND
done one of the following:
1. put their heads in the league game, which is frankly much more competitive than anything other armies might have to offer
OR
2. reduced their playing time to accommodate that weird "life" thing everyone keeps talking about
The bottom line is that armies generally spend more time bickering about when to play than actually playing.
