Hello Tanks!

I've been playing TT on and off since 2003 under several aliases but I'm now sticking to "thaiphoon".

IRL I work with php scripting and develop streaming applications for web tv. I also do motion graphics in After Effects, mainly for award events but also web tv graphics.

I totally enjoy the varied assortment of mods available, but personally I never did any scripting or modding of graphics in TT, yet...

I'm a beginner and have a few questions....What are the reqs to be on a team/league? At what point does someone become a "veteran"?

To be considered a veteran player in TT you must be a player that understands and plays by the rules of all game types, understands to join the losing team on entry of a server and is open to any adjustments by admin on duty.

To join a league, watch for league interest threads and post your intent early. You may not play 100% in the beginning but as you get better , you should get more playing time.

A quick list of game rules in TB are:
No Cliffhanging!
No Team killing!
No Spam! / cursing!

In Scrum:
No Camping or bming-->(shooting players that don't have the scrum)

If you join a game , please stay to finish it as much as possible.
Sever rules may differ but these are some of the main rules and apply to most servers.

If you're referring to to the stars on the left of your posts, it takes a lot of posts to be a veteran.

Some have attempted spamming the heck out of this place to get there, and got sanctioned for it.

As far as teams, there are no requirements. In leagues, the captains usually do a draft.

If you mean armies, most require you ask to join and they decide if you get to or not. A few only allow players by invitation.

Thanks for the info. I assumed a veteran was was something earned by playing some number of times at some skill level. Now that I know some of the rules I can blast the crap out of everyone.

how do u get the specific tank over your status? i stick to the light tank but have no clue how to get it on my ptt2 profile
